Jaiyé is a curated dining community and lifestyle brand — a first of its kind platform in London that spotlights emerging chef talent through competitive cooking experiences and elegant supper clubs. Jaiyé comes from Yorùbá and means to enjoy life · to live fully. We take it as a call to make time for good food, good people and real connection.

Founded by funke Olatunde, a British Afro Caribbean Registered Midwife and creative with Nigerian and Eastern Caribbean heritage, Jaiyé blends warmth, generosity and considered design. It began from a love of food, hosting and connection, and from a resolve to build the kind of room missing in past workplace culture. Jaiyé is a space where guests and team feel safe, welcome and respected. We are professionals and we are good people. That is who we are and who we hope.

What’s a Jaiyé season?

• Supper Club
  Sixty guests gather for an elegant evening: our Jaiyé culinary team presents a seasonal multi course menu that debuts the themes and flavours for the months ahead. 

• Compete
  Themed cook the brief sessions inspired by the season’s flavours. Full recipe, curated ingredients and a set time.
  Timer up. Cameras capture the moments. You cook at your own station, plate to standard, then present to the judges. A winner is announced.

• Keep it alive
  Online menus and concise tutorials so favourites can be revisited at home. Private dining by request with venue, styling and service handled by us. Corporate bookings available for elegant dinners or private competitive cooking experiences.

• Then we begin again — a fresh launch dinner, new themes and another season.
